Travel Advisories

In recent years with the increasing ubiquity of mobile phones and services such as Skype, it has become quite common for people to refer to our ‘shrinking world’. Whilst people now travel more than they have ever done in the past and destinations that were once categorised as ‘exotic’ are now deemed to be familiar, it is easy to forget that travel is still a complex thing that requires good advance planning and access to relevant and accurate information.

The Internet has been the great democratiser  — creating the illusion that everyone can, in effect, become their own travel agent whereas the reality is quite different. OK, organising flights to Lanzarote is not that complicated but once you start moving further afield, the potential for disaster increases exponentially. Our downloadable travel advisories are not meant to be definitive as it is almost impossible to keep such information continuously up to date — particularly when the content is being collated from so many different sources but they should at least provide you with both a flavour of the type of detailed advice that our affiliated agents throughout the country can provide you with and also some of the issues that you and your travelling companions need to be aware of in order to avoid any subsequent problems down the line. Please don’t hesitate to advise us of any errors, inaccuracies or omissions.
